Student

"When I was five years old, my father introduced me to the game of golf. Using my cut-down three wood to land my first solid shot on the pitching green was an exhilarating experience. From that day, I knew golf would become a large part of my life."

At the age of eight, Jerome enrolled as a student of world-famous David Leadbetter, with whom he studied for 16 years. Jerome's aptitude and passion for the game led to his success as a junior player at the national level. Later, he was recruited nationally as a top-ten player in the United States and played his college career at the University of Southern California. While competing and building his skills at the college level, Jerome discovered his true passion: studying the mechanics of the golf swing and teaching others how to perfect their games.

Teacher

Jerome started his teaching career in 1993 when he was the Assistant Golf Coach at The University of Southern California. In 1995 he became a Senior Instructor at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy where he taught for eight years. In 2002 Jerome founded Jerome Andrews Golf and spent two seasons as the Teaching Professional at the Nantucket Golf Club. At the end of 2003, he moved to Pasadena, California to become the Head Teaching Professional at the Annandale Golf Club, a position he held for four years.

Jerome now teaches at the Altadena Golf Course in Altadena, California and The Centennial Golf Glub in Carmel, New York.

Jerome has built a comprehensive and complete understanding of the mechanics of the golf swing. He has a talent for analyzing swings and identifying swing tendencies that allows him to offer his students quick and lasting solutions to change those tendencies. Jerome strives to have all of his students become their own best instructors through understanding their main cause tendencies and learning how to develop and improve them.

While teaching at the Leadbetter Academy in Orlando, Jerome worked with such notable PGA Tour players as Gary Hallberg, D.A. Points as well as with Mette Hageman, a European LPGA Tour member. He has also taught well-known sports notables including Coach Lou Holtz, Jim Courier, Coach John Mackovic and Dave Duerson. Today Jerome continues to work with both professional and amateur players of all levels, including junior All-Americans, college players as well as with CEO's, Private Equity, Venture Capital and Wall Street executives across the country.

In February 2002 Jerome appeared on the Golf Channel's "Golf Academy Live" with student and PGA Tour player, D.A. Points. Since 2002 Jerome has appeared on The Golf Channel numerous times. Jerome has also published articles in numerous golf publications, including Golf Digest in November, 2007.

Speaker

Jerome had the honor of being one of the featured speakers at the 2002 New England PGA Coaching and Teaching Summit. Additionally, he has spoken at the Harvard Club in mid-town Mannhattan, the University of Chicago, and was the Keynote Speaker at the 2006 Rochester, New York Golf Show.
